Good addition to phone (with limitations)
Sturdy enough and light, offers reasonable grip and physical buttons. Fast shipping and great customer service in my experience. There is a learning curve though, the device is fairly small and, while the controls are reminiscent of a proper camera, they are somehow cramped and I don’t see anybody use them with gloves (I keep activate the zoom toggle by mistake, for example). To be fair, that is common to any small camera, not a problem of Fjorden. If one takes that into consideration, the grip is a marvel of ergonomics and very well paired with the Fjorden App. Buttons are fairly easy to reach and the haptics genuinelly usefull. Shutter button has two stages (first one locks focus and exposure), the customizable function button allows you to toggle between modes with long press, and the control dial can be pressed to switch the parameters you want to control. While the plastic construction doesn’t bother me (it does feel very light, like one should expect from a phone grip), the « thumb rest” feel like a flimsy aftertought and I took it off right away, as it would take space in my pocket to no advantage. Also, the dedicated case is a fingertip magnet, I do think for the price we sould have a better finish. Speaking of price, it is a little steep, even after 10% off, even with one year access to Leica Lux Pro (too pricey itself, it should be included wthout limit), and is the reason I took a star off.

Staff Members are Great, but...
Staff members, most notably Christelle Armonio, are friendly, courteous, prompt and helpful in respnding to technical and other questions. However, due largely to the time difference between East Coast US and Norway, their responses usually arrive a day after being submitted. I have found that working with AI is much faster and, ultimately more satisfactory. Still, I spent far too many hours backing and forthing with the robots. My complaint with the grip itself is that it is touchy and complex. I also was unhappy with the need to switch from the free Fjorden app to the pay-for Leica Lux in order to get the best results. That said, the photos are excellent, uncannily like the results I got with a series of Leica film and digital cameras over more than 50 years. I look forward to improvements and simplification...soon, please!

Loving this product and is a constant…
Loving this product and is a constant companion. Although there are limitations photographic wise it is far more useful than the original built in Apple software. Build quality could be more robust especially for enthusiastic photographers like me who has it attached to my phone case constantly. Great ideas always improve with age, well done all at Fjorden😎👍🏼😞

Excellent product and excellent support from Christelle Armonio once I'd found her. Pairing and reconnecting doesn't always go smoothly and the online support is confusing to get to effectively. Christelle was very responsive but it was almost an accident getting hold of her. So online support needs to be less clunky.
I love the grip, that said.

Well packaged and great quality products
Was well packaged and nice packaging and instructions on the inside. Very well thought out. Only issue was that it was delivered in 3 separate packages on different days, and I didn’t see any mention of that until I contacted support asking where 2 of the pieces were. But support was super helpful and clarified everything.
The products themselves are great quality and work very well.

Fjorden products are expensive but feel sturdy; my latest acquisition being the Moment circular polarising filter.
This filter design is so much better than anything else that I’d seen, simply because it doesn’t add any bulk to the overall phone, as everything else that I’ve seen does. I’ve been looking for ages, incidentally.
It comes with a very sturdy case to offer additional protection when it’s not in use; thinking about it, I should have ordered a neutral density filter at the same time to complete the ensemble.
The assembly snaps directly onto the Fjorden casing with a detent release button, so reassuringly there’s no chance of of becoming detached. It’s an incredibly neat arrangement that doesn’t detract from the functionality of the system, either.
I’m using it with an iPhone 16 Pro, incidentally.
The only negative is shipping cost to the UK, which is a bit of a killer and the only reason for one star less than five.
Try as I might, I couldn’t find a way to use the new customer discount which might have helped a little.
But as products go, there’s really no comparable competition.
