Wonderful little shop selling clothing and crafts that are actually made in Norway. Most I believe are local to Stavanger.

What a great little shop in Stavanger! They have a fantastic selection of unique T-shirts and sweatshirts, most featuring original artwork designed by the shop’s owner. What really made this place special was the story behind the designs. Many have a meaningful connection to Stavanger, Norwegian history and local culture. The owner spent a long time talking with us, explaining the meaning and history behind the artwork and patiently answering all of our questions. You can tell that a lot of thought and pride goes into every design. It was so much more interesting than buying a typical tourist souvenir. We left with something original that actually has a connection to the place we visited. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in Stavanger and looking for something unique and genuinely local. We really enjoyed meeting the owner and supporting his small business!

This is an excellent boutique with unique, hand-printed and home made designs from the silkscreen press on site. Uses sustainable wool & cotton and environmental friendly ink. This is not a tourist shop and the products are high quality. A must see!

great little apparel store, definitely not a tourist shop but made for taking home memories from Stavanger and Norway. All clothes are handmade local products, including the wool sweaters. the t-shirts and hoodies are designed and printed by the store owner himself. the owner is a cool, friendly guy who can tell a story connected to each product and design. not your standard sales talk but honest and fun conversation. we found the store by chance but hope to return soon whenever we have our next vacation in Norway. (and we definitely will return because we also liked Stavanger.)

En sjarmerende butikk med en lidenskapelig eier som snakket kjærlig om produktene sine. Jeg dro derfra med en håndlaget lue som vil være perfekt for vinterturer i fjellet. Et sted som absolutt er verdt et besøk.

Den kuleste butikken i Stavanger hvis du vil kjøpe en spesiell skjorte eller et krus. Skjortene deres er silketrykket. Eieren er superhyggelig.

This was the coolest shop in Stavanger! If only we had more room in our suitcase. The owner was very cool and chatty. This is a great place to visit for the softest shirts and unique souvenirs that aren’t cheesy.

We wanted to buy everything in the store - such amazing and creative products, each design with an interesting story and connection to local people, history or culture. We ultimately settled on three shirts and a porcelain mug, but could have loved to buy one of everything

A passionate owner who has such a beautiful craft and store. Also the stories behind the shop, the shirts and designs is interesting. We found a beautiful lighthouse T-shirt for my husband and the owner told us about which lighthouse the design was based on and what storm!

Such a wonderful shopping experience ! The gloves sweaters and hats are made with love. I wanted everything! A must visit if you are in Stavanger !!

This shop is a blast! We’ve been here six years ago and bought some shirts we still wear! The shop owner prints the motives all by himself on really high quality shirts and sweaters. Even if you are looking for some hand knitted Norwegian pullover, go there! It’s the place to be, if you want some real Stavanger/ Norway stuff to remember by wearing that clothes for years! We will be back❤️✌️

The store is Kant. If you are looking for authentic Norwegian wool jumpers/sweaters/hats, you must go to this shop. It is run by a brother/sister who makes just about everything there. The store is unique, the merchandise is one of a kind and prices are extremely reasonable.

Dette er en fantastisk butikk med yttertøy av høy kvalitet. Eieren er supervennlig og gir gode råd. T-skjorten og genseren er fantastiske. Takk for tipset om at jeg kan se designet på skjorten min personlig her i Stavanger. Sverd i Fjell!!!

En veldig fin butikk med mange interessante og estetisk tiltalende produkter. Vi kjøpte små kaffekopper her. De vil minne oss om besøket vårt i Norge og Skaven. Vi liker å kjøpe suvenirer som er designet og laget lokalt.

While walking around Stavanger we came across this little gen. We are always looking for some local shops that are not too touristy. Lovely little shop. We had a great conversation with the very friendly owner. He told us about the past, how he got this shop and all about the shirts he designed and printed himself. Ended up buying two new shirts. Not just because he convinced me but I liked the design and the work that was put into them.

How to start, Frode (owner) has a story to tell behind each motif and t-shirt. Went back today after a too long break just because the last t-shirt and print (Skambankt - Festein) lasted too long! This is amazing because the last t-shirt I bought lasted and still is good after so many rounds in the washing machine! KANT is quality, the material is long lasting and the print takes ages to fade! My favourite t-shirt ever was bought here and I still use it! Had a small issue with one of the prints I bought and I got it switched out right away, no questions asked. This is the place to go if you want quality material on your t-shirt and the print lasts forever, Frode gives the best service and you can get a complimentary cup of coffee with your purchase. But the biggest reason to visit you support a local, independent shop.

Inspiring shop, full of great products. You can tell the thought and care that have gone into each item for sale. Owner very friendly guy as well and you can tell is passionate about what he does. Recommend a stop if you are in Stavanger.

I found this shop by accident on my first trip to Norway and Stavanger and I fell in love with it. More specific the awesome wool sweaters. They were exactly what I was looking for and Frode is an awesome person. We had a good talk on Norway and its nature. When I visit Stavanger the next time, Kant will be a must!

KANT has always looked mighty appealing and inviting. I love their ethos of keeping everything locally sourced, designed and made. The shop itself is awesome and feels very authentic which matches the designs on their clothes too. The shop owner was super friendly and had lovely calm vibes. I would call this shop a total gem and would reccommend to anyone going to Stavanger.

Wonderful experience all around! The sweater I ordered is timeless—it’s authentic, warm, and makes me feel completely at home. The fit is wonderfully loose but not oversized, with a fluffy texture that feels like a warm hug. The owner was incredibly helpful in assisting me with sizing and ordering through messages. Supporting such thoughtful craftsmanship is a joy, and I’m in love with how this sweater makes me feel—both in style and in spirit.

I‘ve been visiting this shop for more than 8 years now! I would love to visit it more often, but unfortunately I’m not that often in Stavanger! The quality is remarkable! I have a pullover for now 5/6 years and it still looks great. I bought it again just to have it in a different color! Also the owner is amazingly nice and friendly. Hope to be there again soon!
