Massive ski area. So massive it is easy to get lost. Méribel in particular needs better signage at intersections.
Visited over new year. It was very busy and the snow conditions not good as it hadn't snowed for ages. Lots of icy patches especially at lower levels which are difficult to negotiate in the crowds! Meribel itself is lovely and getting over to Val thorens had some fab slopes. I wouldn't book again over new year due to conditions/crowds and I'd be tempted to stay somewhere at higher altitude to ensure the end of the day ski back to the hotel wasn't so tricky.
Great ski resort in the centre of the three valleys, does get quite busy and slopes are slightly worse than Courchevel and Val Thorens in my opinion
Great sking/boarding. There's so many runs and lifts that it can be a labour to navigate.

Les på GoogleSuperb skiing day. Only thing is we bought mini day pass and have been told mistakingly what lift we can use. So at the beginning our boys missed few minutes with the instructor. Otherwise all slopes maintained well.

Les på GoogleGreat vast ski resort with good infrastructure capable of handling massive amounts of snow and people. They look after the snow for a long time between snowfall and most lifts are in good condition.
Les på GoogleGreat skiing, great town, we were here for a week and couldn't even do 1/4 of the three vallies. Endless skiing! Follie douce, Ronnie's and meribar are great aprez ski bars, however, the nightlife does leave alot to be desired. We found that it started getting busy around 11-12pm and didn't rest get going untill 2/3am which didn't really work for us as we like to get a full day of skiing in. The prices here were also really steep with some bars charging around €8 for a pint. Food here is also really expensive and a beer and a meal is likely to set you back atleast €30.

Les på GoogleMeribel is not as developed as neighboringing Courchevel, thus less crowded, still a lot of construction work is taking place during summer time same as other parts of Vanoise national park
Les på GoogleExtensive ski runs. The runs are all very similar but they make a good way to explore the valleys. My favourite, was Olympia. There are many great places to grab a bite to eat or drink on the slopes.
