Sauzet Luthier omtaler og erfaringer

Lydie brougth my violin back to life

Lydie recently did a full service on my violin which has not been used for a decade. Her services included an evaluation of what needed to be done now, and what could wait if needed according to my budget. She refitted the bridge and soundpost, changed the strings and rehaired the bow, as well as doing a thorough cleaning and a fix on a crack in the gluing. Her communication is sound and recommendations are good. I'm very happy with the look, sound and feel of my "new" violin, and the tips and tricks she taught me.

I got my cello back from Lydie last…

I got my cello back from Lydie last monday. Lydie has gluing, varnishing retouches and rehairing. She has done a really great work. It is fantastic to play on my cello now. The sound is even better and also it looks wonderful too. And to day a week after I have played with my bow which she rehaired. It is marvellous to play now.

Lydie did a great job on my cello

Lydie did a great job on my cello, and the result was excellent! She made several improvements, including fitting a new bridge and soundpost. Highly recommended. She has also rehaired my bows several times, and the work has always been great.

Pickup and delivery!

Pickup and delivery! I just had two double basses repaired. My 5-string bass was opened for repair of the ribs and a crack. Lydie´s work was excellent and left no marks. The other bass needed installation of adjustable screws for the bridge. Very nice work as well. The best part is that she came all the way to Ålesund to pick the basses up and returned them after repair. This is an outstanding service that takes a lot of worries from a bass player´s heart. I highly recommend this luthier for double bass repairs!

Very good work

My violin needed to be fixed in several ways and Lydie Sauzet Luthier did it very good. It is like a new intrument now. The work was also done exactly the days that we had agreed on, even though Lydie discovered that there were more to be done with the violin than we first thought.

Excellent work on a violin repair

Excellent work on a complex violin repair. The craftsmanship is precise, discreet, and fully respectful of my instrument's integrity and sound. Communication was clear thoughtful throughout the project. Great pleasure to deal with someone so knowledgeable and passionate. Highly recommended.

Très sympathique avec des réparations de qualité.

Lydie a su me faire un devis précis et a consciencieusement réparé mon alto. Il sonne mieux que jamais. Le contact humain était très facile et agréable. Un bon contact à avoir dans son répertoire.

My Feren violin, built in Trondheim 1971 and been in the family since then, needed a brush up of the varnish. Lidie has done a most brilliant work to get the varnish shining up again. I can for sure recommend her handicraft and good communication during the process. Regards Nils O Solum
