Terrible customer service. My husband’s order still hasn’t arrived because they failed to provide the necessary customs documents. Despite multiple emails and our direct communication they haven’t send the paperwork yet or provide any useful information about the delivery. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Still waiting for our money back, at least….

Very disappointing experience with Varsity Headwear. My order still hasn’t arrived due to customs paperwork that they failed to provide. I’ve contacted them several times and even handled communication with UPS myself, but they still haven’t provided the necessary documents or a clear update. Their customer support is extremely poor and completely unresponsive. Very unprofessional service. I would not recommend this company.

Excellent service

Jeg har vært her en rekke ganger nå, i løpet av det siste året. Jeg har antakeligvis fler capser enn det er anbefalt av myndighetene å ha, og jeg er altså så fornøyd! Kvaliteten og utseende til varsity sitt brede utvalg av capser, er helt upåklagelig. Jeg er imponert over innovasjonene merket kommer med og gleder meg til å se hva som kommer i fremtiden. Butikken i Bogstadveien er svært stilren og minimalistisk. Man føler seg vel som kunde i denne butikken. De ansatte ser deg og tilbyr deg hjelp - de har full kontroll på varene de selger. Derfor er det fult mulig å «ramle» inn i butikken uten å ha sett for seg en spesifik caps, men likevel få den hjelpen man trenger til å velge den perfekte capsen til sin preferanse. Sist jeg var her, fikk jeg helt strålende hjelp av Linea, som hjalp meg med å velge både min sjette og syvende varsitycaps og fikk brodert på rekordtid - Butikken i Bogstadveien kan nemlig brodere tekst på enhver caps etter kundens ønske! Kan virkelig anbefale denne butikken dersom man skulle ha behov for et nytt hodeplagg! <3

I honestly regret buying caps from Varsity Headwear in Oslo. In less than one year I bought 6 caps from them – 5 for me and 1 for my girlfriend. I always took good care of them and washed them carefully, but 4 of them now have sweat stains that won’t go away. Two months ago one cap was also stolen in Italy, so right now I can only show 3 of the caps, but 4 actually have the same problem. Yesterday I went to the store in Oslo and they told me to try a new soap and come back if it didn’t work. I came back today and the only thing they offered me was 50% off if I buy a new hat. That is honestly crazy to me. I literally bought a new cap for 1400 NOK the day before, and when I asked if I could get 700 NOK back on that purchase they said no. They also refused any refund or replacement for the other caps that now basically look bad because of the sweat stains. I have driven from Drøbak to Oslo 5 times just to talk to them about this problem. That’s a lot of time and fuel just to get no real help. What makes this even worse is that I also added a photo of my work cap that cost 300 NOK. I’ve had that one for 2 years while working as a district heating welder in Oslo, working in ditches and central plants. After two years of that kind of work, that cap still looks better than the Varsity caps after less than one year. For caps that are this expensive, I expected much better quality and much better customer service. Very disappointed.

Hi Sebastian, Thank you for your response. However, I think you misunderstood an important part of my review. The Varsity caps were never used at work. I only mentioned my work cap as a comparison. The cap I use for work costs around 300 NOK and I have worn it for two years while working as a district heating welder in Oslo. Despite that kind of heavy use, it still looks better than several of my Varsity caps. The Varsity caps were only used for normal everyday use, and I always took good care of them. They were never used in construction or work environments. That is exactly why I am disappointed that four of them developed permanent sweat stains in less than a year. My point with the comparison was simply that caps costing 1200–1400 NOK should be able to handle normal use without permanent stains appearing so quickly. I also want to clarify that I visited the store several times trying to solve this in a reasonable way, but the only solution offered was a 50% discount if I bought another cap. That does not really solve the problem when several caps already have the same issue. I supported your brand by buying multiple caps, which is why I hoped for a better solution or at least a clearer explanation.

The product quality is excellent. The cap is superb, with premium materials and great finishing. Nothing to complain about regarding the product itself. However, the customer experience was disastrous when it came to delivery. The parcel was stuck for over a week, tracking information was inconsistent, additional unjustified fees were requested and there was no proactive action despite several follow-ups. It’s a shame because the product truly matches the premium positioning. Unfortunately, the service and logistics management do not.

Dro innom for å handle caps, stod i kø mens hun i kassen betjente en annen kunde som tok lang tid, men så prioriterte hun plutselig en annen som kom stormende inn og vill bytte. Dårlig service, ble ingen kjøp.

Bra utvalg, grei service, ekstremt varmt i lokalet.

Var en kjapp tur innom butikken i Bogstadveien og ble positivt overrasket av utvalget og enestående service. Kjøpte en navneplate til min cap i merinoull. Jenten strevde litt med å få satt på platen, men hun fikset og ordnet på kort tid! I'll be back! 😁 …

Overlegne capser, og overlegen service! Både ved kjøp og når vi kom med en utfordring med kjøpte capser. Cecilie leverer! 10/10

Flott service!!!

The cap was ruined after using it twice. It was not even used for training but as an everyday cap, and because of a small amount of sweat a dark line on the part that covers the forehead appeared. Have tried different soaps to remove it and it doesn’t disappear. When going back to the shop for showing the damage, their suggestion is to use another soap they sell online. There is no warranty even though the cap was bought a month ago. Have had many caps and never had one with such a bad quality in an expensive product. Go for another cap brand ;)

Some people call them overpriced, for a regular cap, but i have yet to find a any cap with a better quality(wool or linen), craftmanship or keeping their shape as well or fit for my head(they are quite "deep"/low riding). i cant comment on any of the sport/active or oilskin models. i have used my wool cap for 2 seasons now, and it still looks pristine. Service was nice, the two times i'w been to the store itselfe.

Jeg fikk anbefalt å sjekke ut Varsity fordi de hadde kule caps. Har ikke vært innom butikken, men jeg ble overbevist at det var bra produkter. Så jeg bestilte og fikk en veldig fin boks tilsendt! De legger virkelig mye i å få kunden til å føle at de har fått det lille ekstra. Fin caps, og bra levering av produkt!
